Hello im new to the forum and i badly need help as i need to get on road asap because theres no other way to college.
Basically on the way to college my bike would not do over 30mph if i tried to it would just bog down and die on me.
Then at the end of college it wouldnt start at all so i called out breakdown and he basically said its just a shit spark and u need a new plug so i got a new plug ht lead and plug cap and it was still a weak spark so i inspected the stator plate and it was burnt out so i replaced that and its a nice spark now but it just wont fire up i havnt tried easy start do you think i should thanks for readin.

did you make sure the pick ups went back in the same place??

ok 3 things are needed to make a bike run,

compression
spark (at the right time)
fuel (atomised and mixed with air)

so you have spark, probably at the right time
have you cleaned out the carb?? make sure there is no water ect mixed in with the fuel, and clean all the jets out
and the last, if all else fails pull your head and barrelll and check your rings and bore(you'll have to drain your cooling system, and you'll preobly need a gasket set as well)

have fun
