Anyone else going?
I know it's bit early but pretty excited seeing as it's my first time on track etc etc. Needless to say I'll be in the novice camp.
Oh and 105db. How loud is that? Reckon I can get away with a race can without baffles on a Bandit6? ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F

Hmm, I've never seen anywhere test IL4 600cc four-strokes at anything other than 6k RPM. Where's the link to where it says 7k? I can't find it.
If it is 7k I'm also fucked |

At Oulton it's always been 6.5k for my R6... did they change this recently? I have to admit I've not been on a track in a year |

Well they forecast rain all day Friday - typical!
Can you wear a one-piece waterproof set (the set I use for my daily commute) over the leathers etc?
Also, gloves. Do they have to have a cuff?

Yeah waterproofs over leathers are fine.
8000 rpm for a 400 4cyl! Although I've got between 101db and 104db on the same bike with the same standard exhaust.
I'm pretty sure mine wouldn't pass at 8000rpm, I hold it at 6000rpm and nobody ever checks.
Not sure about cadwell but I know at snetterton they have a noise meter on the senna straight which flags up anything really loud and then they retest it.
Have a good day ____________________ Yamaha FZR400RR 3tj

What a fucking ace day.
Had a bit of a trek there (400 mile round trip + track time) so had to leave at 4.45am (eek) and got home about 8.30....
But..boy was it worth it. Even on my 50k miler Bandit 6 I had a great time.
Anyone who hasn't done a track day yet - do eeet.
That is all. ____________________ NSR125RR - ZXR750H1 - ZX9R E1 - GSF600S - GSF600SK3 - VFR400-NC30 - SV1000N - ST1100-R - CBR900RR-R - GSF1200SK5 - GSF600SK1 - VFR1200FA - GSXR1000K2 - ZZR1400 D8F
