Powder coating my wheels

Hi I have an FZ6 and the wheels are a little bit worse for wear.

They have a few chips and are quite pitted and so I would like to remove them and get them acid dipped then powder coated.

How easy a job is stripping the wheels. I need to remove the bearings and so I assume I will need to buy new bearing. Do they need to be pressed in professionally or can I do it by hand somehow?

just take every thing of the wheels bearings seals everything, easy to take apart, and fitting you can get them pressed in but i never bother just knock them in, as long as they go in straight you be ok.
and as you have them apart you might as well fit new bearings. but thats up to you? you might damage them removing them then you might not.

when you knock the bearings out try not to hit the sealing surfaces. take your time and hit them out squarely by tapping opposite edges.
