 |
|
Currently got a geared 2T 50, and im looking to do my A2 and move onto real bikes (Ok, its 6 months away, but i gotta start thinking of bikes now!)
Been looking at the ZXR400, as it looks nice, will have some nice competition in the shape of an RVF, and can be had for around £1,000. Seem to be pretty reliable, quite low (I've got a 30" Leg) and handle well.
I've ridden an RS125 through its powerband (alright, it was 1st, but still) and nearly cacked myself the 1st time, but got used to it quickly, so how harsh with the ZXR be compared to something like an RS125? Im thinking it will be smoother as its not a 2T, could be wrong.
Just any idea's to toss in would be great, MPG etc. as it will be a commute bike too.
Cheers. |

Chances are the RS125 was restricted to 14.6bhp. The ZXR is 65bhp, but obviously you'd be getting it restricted
The sports 400's are all getting a bit old an unreliable now as most are 15-20 years old. Whilst they would make a decent choice i wouldn't rule out something newer, potentially cheaper, easier to ride and more reliable like a CB500. Just something to think about. |
