The thread title is somewhat misleading and I'm a bit disappointed. I was just getting myself ready for a right go! ____________________ A good loser will always be a loser. |

if you want to see some modded bikes that will make you cry then Google "motoball" and take a close look at some of thier/our bikes
no need for an MOT so any thing goes exhausts chopped & welded into all sorts of funny shapes,
ball-gaurds welded & bolted onto the forks and frames
tanks and seats from allsorts of strange machines bolted on !!!
but hey they work ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

Anything anodised, particularly socket caps. Pointless carbon fibre for the sake of it. Titanium cans - why? Titanium fasteners - why? Titanium anything on a road bike - why? Steering dampers on road bikes - GTF! Chrome frames/swingarms Big bore kits on already huge bikes. Tiny indicators. Small number plates. Number plates with stupid messages at the bottom. Fly screens. Any paint job involving flames...or naked women...or Satanic symbols...or band names...or...

Anything anodised - Agreed
Pointless carbon fibre for the sake of it - That is just a stupid thing to say really
Titanium cans -Titanium fasteners - Titanium anything on a road bike - I think it has alot to do with weight issues
Steering dampers on road bikes - Another idiotic thing to say.
Chrome frames/swingarms - Agreed
Big bore kits on already huge bikes. - Coming from the man who hates speed I can understand your reasons here. To us that like actually going fast these are a wonderful idea.
Tiny indicators. Agreed
Small number plates. This 1 is a bit hit n miss as id rather walk than have to have a bike with a 10ft sq numberplate, But 3x3" does just look shit.
Number plates with stupid messages at the bottom. Some can be quite funny though.
Fly screens. Agreed although i thought they where to give some wind protection.
Any paint job involving flames...or naked women...or Satanic symbols...or band names... Agreed
You missed out.......
Fake Carbon Fibre
Helmet Ears etc
Handlebar muffs, Yes they might keep your handy pandys warm but they look shite.
Clear rear lights/indicators

Mine didn't have one. Then again, mine didn't have several bits it should have had She was dog rough compared to the pristine restorations you seem to see all the time now. Completely artificial nonsense.
Maybe it was the steering damper that made the handling so bad on the standard H1 and H2 models. I never felt in danger of dying at any time during the 8000 miles I did on mine. Well, not once I got used to the horrific speed at which Gladys devoured petrol and 2 stroke oil

Whats wrong with tiny indies?
Its one of those things that are really sad yet everyone does to their bikes! Hell if I had the cash/inclination I'd put littluns on the MZ!
However for the king of all things meaty and great, not to mention the worst mods I've seen look no further than here.....!
A perfect example of how to make a good meaty bike and destroy it at the same time!
Just kidding raf we know its an 850 really! |

Best looking indicators are stock yamaha's on their current ranges. Retro fit them onto your MZ it will look better. ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |
