I still remember the day I was walking around homebase trying to find 'real lightbulbs' to be told they dont stock them (found a local DIY store with 100's though so all good).

hi,
most of the stuff from aldi + lidl seems to fairly decent.
got a decent lcd caliper for under a tenner.
spanner were cheap as well, made a decent 2nd set for the wee tool box.
i got the box of o-rings last year, reckon its saved me a few quid. very handy.

Brought one today. Seems well made and comes with a three year warrentee so chuffed for £8!

And it did some with a non-energy saving bulb

I assume you mean the screw extractor? Different thing altogether.

Must be looking at different things , the screw extractors for 4.99 will not remove bolts.

Head snaps off a bolt, you drill a hole in the shaft and use an extractor and remove it. Same as you do when the end of a screw is damaged.

Are you thinking of a stud extractor?
