Hello everybody!! i`m new to this forum, but hope i can fit in?

i ride a ZX6R and am in the process of finishing off a tatty XS400.
i used to play moto-ball many moons ago (Google it!)

but this summer i intend to do a bit of touring around East Anglia on a CG125.
i have been reading some of the threads around here and i am impressed with peoples exploits Smile and this has spured me on.
i have a Honda CG125 lined up (if the price is right).

who knows any bike friendly campsites in North Norfolk?
those of you who have already done some small-bore touring... can you give me any tips?? please.
i intend to avoid major A-roads so do any of you lot know some good routes in Norfolk & suffolk?

Many thanks Thumbs Up

I stayed at one in Cromer, owner was a biker himself. I phoned ahead to let him know I would be at least 30 minutes later than they stipulated in the description on ukcampsites.co.uk and he even let me put my bike in the shed so I wasn't struggling on the grass with it. I will see if I can locate it. Facilities were ok, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machines & tumble driers all available and very clean toilets/showers.

I found the roads around Norfolk to be pretty boring, but then I am used to riding around the Lakes & Scotland. The best road was the coast road running from south of Cromer to Kings Lynn, just beware of the gravel which was on almost every bend.

I have toured the small roads of Norfolk quite extensively, it really doesn't take that long to get from place to place...e.g. Norwich to Cromer (approx 40mins via the back roads).

There are oodles of castles, and follys, and mansion houses, estates, and ruins and abbeys everywhere.

I didn't need to find camping personally - as have relatives living over there (so plenty places for me to crash). But I do remember seeing caravan parks everywhere, especially along the coast.

Have fun. Thumbs Up
