I have agreed to buy a mates a Hornet.
Needs a bit of work but should be fun once done.
But the question is have I betrayed the gods of Suzuki
Tis a 99 in Yellow.
But colour shall change, suggestions ?
Also any must have mods ? ____________________ ◙◙► K6 GSXR 600 ◄◙◙◙◙► K5 GSXR 1000 ◄◙◙◙◙► K5 GSXR 600 ◄◙◙◙◙► 96 RF600r ◄◙◙

Welcome to Honda
What made you decide to get a Hornet? price?
Mods, exhausts, Akra sounded good on the CBR (similar engines) belly pan. possibly some Rethal bars? and the general braided lines.
If I seem to remember the suspension is not as good as the CBRs so maybe some internal upgrades with them? k-tech/Ohlins?
Only a few ideas. Do quite like Hornets... ____________________ Current: Ducati Multistrada 1200s |

my hornet was yellow, had a respray to black before i got it though.
must have mods:
- renthals. the standard bars feel SO cramped.
- braided lines. i just got mine fitted and they are goooooood.
- tail tidy (twin lights optional!) they improve the rear end massively.
- bar end mirror. i love mine, simple as.
- new exhaust. i have a stubby micron on mine and sounds the nuts. link pipes can be a bitch to get a good fitment (viper are a no-no, blueflame are a yes-yes)
- belly pan. just for looks!
- rear hugger and front fenda extenda. stops extra road crap from flying everywhere.
edit: some pics of mine for examples as above (braided lines not fitted, also now have stubby adjustable brake/clutch levers)

Don't do ^that^ to it.
Honda's are machines of subtly beauty, that like to be appreciated by their owners and bask in the glory they are about indestructable.
Welcome to the brighter side. ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. Get some better happy pills, hit the gym & buy a medallion the size of a dinner plate. Job done |

You may have betrayed your GSXR roots but it could have been worse MGlee, you could have proper wimoed out and bought the blandit. Just keep telling yourself that the Suzuki's have character and its fun that they break! ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |

McGee, that's the same headlight unit I had on the NS that I resprayed red & sent you over MSN a year or so back. Do you plan keeping it? ____________________ Roger wrote: Women don't get damp for clingy puppies. Get some better happy pills, hit the gym & buy a medallion the size of a dinner plate. Job done |
