Read a magazine article about it it seems amazing, I'm far to much of a wuss to be that cold for that long.

maybe many years ago I'd have done that. Now I prefer to enjoy my biking, not suffer for it.

Really enjoyed looking though that entire thread on advriders.

I presume the panniers were stuffed with clothing. That looked like a heavy bike for riding in all that snow.
