Dun-slip D606

My WR has a Dunlop D606 130/90-18 on the rear ... I actually quite like it ... seems hard wearing, might not be the MOST grippy tyre out there, but it does the trick for the sort of riding I do ... and I have either been REALLY lucky (puncture wise) or it has a caucus made of sheet metal!!

But I'll be bu66ered if I can find a replacement listed (in the UK) ....

Have the D606s been superseded now or are they an America only market job???

have a look for a geomax or a 908 think they are what superseeded them.

Even if not its what most of my mates run on their enduro's

If you can't find a replacement, the Mitas CO2 is cheap (£42ish), road legal, very hard wearing, and very grippy - I run one on the rear, as does Svenn and Tatters I believe, as well a couple of other mates. Haven't heard bad feedback yet.

Mitas Co2 is a very good tyre for what we ride on, l had 1,500-2,000 miles from mine before it lost offroad traction.

Maxxis are hard wearing and have a more mx style pattern .. but road legal... they also cost about £45 fitted.
Me and Philo run heavy duty tubes and have not had a puncture in 2 years ... I dont think its down to the tyres is it ?? ie: if a nail punctures one tyre, what about another tyre will stop that ?
Its down to the right pressures , rim locks, and heavy duty tubes. (imho)

No tyre would of stopped a 4" nail, though running low pressure on the rear is what bent the rim.

reminds me that l need to get rid of the CRM on ebay.

Seems most only go up to 120
