Thai isn't my favourite take away but I have just had the best Pad Thai ever Drooling ! I'm a self-confessed takeaways and fast food junkie and with the prices being so cheap....it is no wonder that the country has an obesity problem.

I'm stuffed but I can still murder a kebab with loads of garlic mayo
Thumbs Up Mr. Green Drooling

How much does yours costs Yun? I find takeaways ridiculously expensive, for what i eat anyway. I spent £30 a week on shopping so £10 for one meal that last 5 minutes is a waste. But i can't help it. Embarassed Laughing

I like mixed Shish/Doner kebab with chips.

Gone right off pizzas, costs £14 for a large! I also get a horrible sickening feeling after pizza.

trevoriv - that does sound like a bargain.
chicken jalfrezi with pilau rice and peshwari naan with baajis and a few popodums here would defo be more than £10.
But we ate in this time, 3 fully loaded 3 course meal with drinks and 4 boxes of t/away as we couldn't finish - hence bargain to us, especially living near London.

Devils Advocate - we do know what goes on behind closed doors. My husband typically owns 2 chinese restaurants himself, plus the Thai restaurant we went today had an open kitchen so there isn't much to hide.

£33 to feed 2 peeps for 2 days is pretty good considering we couldn't cook it half as good as they can, no washing up - the ultimate convenience! Thumbs Up

In my travels I get to see backstage at quite a few take-away establishments and most of them would fail the food hygiene standards M.O.T.
That said I am quite partial to Szechuan King Prawn with Egg Fried Rice Razz
