My flate mate just 'serviced' the brakes on his VFR400 NC21, I think they're pretty similar to at least the early NSRs.

They did rub a bit, but now it's a load worse. It could be something to do with the previous owner replacing the discs a bit dodgily as it only rubs on one place per revolution. Someone else reconed it was probably the seals, any one got any ideas?

Take the discs off the wheel and reattach them, make sure you tighten all the retaining bolts to the same torque. If it still rubs it's probably a warped disc. You can get it straightened easily enough by seperating the rotor and holder and placing the bugger in a big press. Try your local breakers they should be able to press it flat for you for a few quid.
