Well I've looked on google and on here, but I cant find anything similar....

What happened:

Working fine... dry day.... started flickering both directions (NOT blinking fast as if a bulb died).... then stopped working...kaput... nothing.

What works:

Main beem
Dip beem
Break light
Horn
Ignition

What I've tried:

Changing flasher relay... No change.
Checked and changed fuse.... No change
Checked all bulbs.... No blown bulbs

Tried to keep it as simple as possible and explain as well as I could, anyone got any ideas of what it could be at all? I dont like tinkering with my main form of transport, so only done basic checks, but frankly I wouldnt know any more than that, so I'm stumped.

Its a 1994 Reg Kawasaki GPZ 500, Single disk front and back, if that helps at all.

Many thanks for reading.

hm.... i experienced a similar problem, My right indicator on my GPZ500s, intermittely fail. when i flick on the right indicator, the indicator relay just buzz, but the left indicator worked as normal. I bought a new indicator relay from ebay, it didn't fix the problem, but the relay buzz has gone, but the indicator still didn't work. At last I use WD-40 to clean the connectors to the relay, and it seemed to cure it.

Don't know whether your problem is related to mine, the indicator relay is under the seat behind the right side panel? of the bike. I don't have the bike with me at the moment, couldn't accurately tell you which side.

It might be your indicator switch?

you should hear a buzzing and click when you flick the switch to either side. say from left to right.
