Once you get into it there's no big deal in chopping bits about on your bike. I've had to cut great chunks out of the fairings on my 'busa to make room for the dump pipe, blowoff valve, boots pipe, air filter, exhaust, 2nd radiator etc etc.
Bit nerve-wracking at first but once you realise that even if you make a mistake you can cut a bit more and make it look good there's nothing to it. I use a 4" grinder. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
