My step dad just road back my new bike for me - CBR 600. To say I'm happy is an understatement! Very Happy Mr. Green Only thing I need to do now is pass my mod1 on Sunday then my mod 2 and were off! Smile It's too dark to take some pictures just now but here are the ones from Pistonheads:

After asking the guy about the downpipes which he said would probably be needing replacing, I got home and started it up for myself and it sounds a bit... awful! After the whole palava of changing my brothers CBR downpipes it seems mine has gone too.

Is there any temporary measure to stop air blowing from the headers?

Cheers,
Steven

I want to ride it Sad

the Viper exhaust won't be helping with the sound.... had one on my Bandit and they made the bike sound terrible..
very cheap exhaust made from aluminium so a pain to keep looking nice. Look for a cheap micron or scorpion.

I saw that bike advertised on Pistonheads(IIRC) a few months back.
Thought about buying it myself, but it was too far away in Scotland.

It's a very nice looking machine. Congratulations! I hope you enjoy
lots of great times on it. Thumbs Up

Is that sarcasm or are they actually decent tyres? Wink

Really? I didn't think it sounded that bad, not much difference from the standard can, just a little deeper?
