Row with the neighbours yesterday

Fuckin twat of a neighbour has gone and got a dog over last weekend, only problem is I work nights and this fuckin mutt can bark for Britain; so yesterday I finished my shift, came home for 1.30ish and got my head down for 2.30pm at 5pm the fuckin dog had barked continuesly since I got into bed. Well I fuckin exploded on his doorstep after he opened the frontdoor, then his missus had a go and then her son. Well what a pullaver, I threatened him, her, her son and to kill the dog by strangulation...

it's amazing how when your tired you can't think straight or rational, this morning in work I was laffin about it with work colleagues. I start work at midnight so on a monday i'm up all day without a kip and into work and work straight through the night so as to get into the weeks routine. etc so yesterday I was mega tired after pushing out pretty much twelve solid hours behind the wheel.

You can complain to your council, my parants have a slapper next door to them renting with 3 kids and no its not a council estate, she claims disibility and works nearly every day, her oldest kid is a little B&^%$stard ,finally after 14 crime numbers regarding noise and abuse from them they have been evicted, the point is there dog can be considered anti social and should not be allowed to bark outside for any length of time.

Contact your council's noise abatement team. They'll help sort it out.

I've been on the receiving end of abuse from a neighbour because of unwarranted noise she felt I was making, she complained to the council, I countercomplained, we went into mediation, she ended up moving.

I can see her point, it's a noisy corner, but she was being unreasonable complaining about noise at 11.50pm on a Saturday night then on another weekend complaining at 11.20am on a Sunday morning. Both times the harpy was fucking and blinding on the doorstep in her pyjamas. It was just my TV and shoddy building work.

I think I posted the letter I wrote to council on here somewhere...

I work as a doorman and sometimes only get home at 6 in the morning. I found it's easier to get some decent earplugs than rant at your neighbours everytime someone wants to cut their grass or do a bit of building work.
Your neighbours may be out of order, having a dog that won't stop barking but if you get them to stop their noise it's sod's law someone will decide to dig up the road in front of your house.

i've been on nights for 4 years, they know this yet they allowed the fuckin mutt to bark for 2.5 hours solid yet they know i'm in bed.

i'm sorry mucka but it's out of order, if i had the dog and it did this i'd bring it in after 5 mins barking cus it would drive me up the wall.

You don't have to live next door to them.

You don't know their noise history or the type of bloke he is. We've had an easy peace for a couple of years but they push the boundaries every so often.

Might have been worth not ranting at them in the first instance, most people are pretty receptive if you smile etc and are reasonable with them.

However, I know exactly what you mean about the tiredness thing, and I can only play the fake smile and wave routine up to a point.

I recall a particular incident when some local youffs were drunkenly hanging around the top of the road, swinging on lamp posts, gobbing off at each other, and generally making dumb and uneccesary noise. It woke me up, it was 3.50am, it was a work night.

Cue me, nothing at all on but boxers and combat boots, stomping out into the middle of the road. I bellowed down the street the moment I felt I would be close enough to be heard, what came out of my mouth was obscene and about four times as loud as I ever thought I could physically shout.

I ended with, "shut the fuck up, you fucking wankers. It's four in the fucking morning... cunts".

It worked, they shut up and thinned out instantly, but I was still angry enough to want to put a bullet through the forehead of the world, the damage was done.

I cannot abide interrupted sleep. I've had four years of enforced sleep deprivation at the whim of others, I signed up for it. But i'm done with that chapter. I will fight to preserve sleep now, logic, reason and decency goes completey out the window after a threshold.

Call it a character flaw. But I don't care, most people are wankers, especially neighbours.

Try having a neighbour who's son who doesnt even live with her (50 odd) accusing you of setting your alarm to go at 4am, jump on the floor a few times then go back to bed when he is staying over (whilst being 7 months pregnant) and them complaining that your boiler is making loads of noise and keeping the stupid old woman up............when it had been broke 3 days. Oh, also when you have spent loads of money getting a tree chopped down and a huge bush ripped out giving them a lot more of their garden back, only to then be asked 'When are you going to paint the fence my side, buy grass etc' when they havent spent a penny.

Piss off and when I can afford it came to mind.

There are few things more gauranteed to enrage in the home than a continuously barking dog. Add to that tiredness and the need to sleep and murders can happen.

Nobody has any right whatsoever to inflict their dog barking on somebody else. Get it under control or remove it.
