I'd much rather ride in rain than wind.
If it is rainy you can allow for that if you are riding along down a street one minute you may get caught by a gust, then be sheltered by a building and so on. It is more difficult to allow for and predict. So for me rain every time. ____________________ Suzuki RF 600 - The two wheeled Testarossa (Deceased)

I hate wind!
Its bloody annoying when you get blown off course, and bloody darn scary!
Atleast in the rain you can take it easy and wear your waterproofs!
And tyre technology these days gives even better wet grip. |

I hate it when its windy because it can hit you when you least expect it, rain ain't so bad as you can see it and you knows its the road is going to be slippery so you take it easier but wind gives no warning.
I don't enjoy riding about in the wind especially on open roads and i tend to avoid going out if its that bad. Rain don't bother me too much, as long as i have all the gear on and with the visor down you barely notice, just have to be careful round bends and watch those brakes.
How about gail force winds/ heavy rain together . ____________________

I had a lot of wind to content with on the motorways today. At one point there was severe terrential rain, I could barely see past my screen, the A34 flooded and traffic slowed to about 30-40 mph. Got absolutely drenched, despite wearing waterproofs but that wasn't nearly as bad as some of the cross winds on the motorways!
Especially when you go past a bloody lorry ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

In my ped days, I used to love the wind when it was behind me. When it was in front of me...well that is a completely different story. ____________________ My NSR --> https://members.boards.ie/instinct/Diagonal.jpg

Wind, gets me stuck in traffic, I can filter in the rain, not as well as in the dry, but I can.
In strong wind, I will take somones mirrors away or worse.
Seen it happen, seen bikers slowly filtering one car at a time in the wind and giving up, giving up or causing damage.
The wind was strong enough to nearly blow me over at a stand still on one of its gusts.
Was horrible.
At least rain you know whats up ____________________ 04 Suzuki GSX-R 600 K4 - Sex on wheels :>

but i've been blown clear out of my lane a few times by very strong crosswinds on the motorway ____________________ Bikes owned :- 2001 nsr125, 1999 zx6r, 2006 yzf-r1, 2009 xmax 250, 2012 yzf-r1, 2015 MT-07
