Is this Moped worth the money?

I have found a Moped I really like, i'm just asking if you guys think its worth the money?

Brand New

The company has already done this to the Moped before we buy it:

registerd the bike to save the hassle

Been taxed for 1 year

Had an inspection by VOSA

Fit a registration plate to the Moped

No need for a M.O.T for 3 years because the bike is brand new and fully registerd

My son had that exact moped from new and it rusted just about everywhere it could rust within a couple of months, were not just talking surface rust either.

If your only going to have it a few months then there is no harm in it but if your thinking of anything more long term buy a decent make second hand

Seeing as it seems you're easily swayed by eBay ads, if it doesn't say Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha or Kawasaki on it then ignore it. There are other makes that would be ok, but it would be hard to go wrong with one from the big four.

In addition to what's been said above, getting parts for the Chinese bikes is next to impossible. So when it does break (and it will), you're going to have fun finding a garage that is willing to help. My local one won't even touch them.

It's all great advice. it's better to buy an older quality make than buy new chinese. Chinese bikes have very little resale value, the build quality is usually extremely poor, and they are usually very unreliable (in my humble opinion!) to quote an old saying," The bitter taste of poor quality will remain long after the sweet taste of economy has been forgotten!"
