I think you are likely to get a slightly biased opinion on this forum as the *majority of people own or have owned an NSR at some point.
Personally I like mine, it is reliable - reasonably (besides the odd few tantrums), pretty quick for a 125 and I like the looks too (when its all in one piece... ) ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

Right, ok, my bottom line:
If you intend to do your test (or have already passed it), then I reckon that it would be better to look for a nice second hand 400/600.
If, however, you intend to live on your CBT for a little while, then by all means get an NSR.
Also, if you intend to get a brand new NSR, bear in mind that insurance may be around the same as that of an older bigger bike. ____________________ TiN
