to cut a long story short the meta fob finally died for my bike a few days ago, tried meta, " sorry sir as you don't have the pin code we can't do anything ".
Well of course i don't have the pin code (i don't even have the second fob) as i'm the third owner and one of the earlier owners has lost the bugger.
so cakk the garage as the bike needs a service anyway, "ah right well we can't do it but we'll give you the number of a guy who can, oh and btw this next service is a major one and will take at least 6 hours to the tune of £300 odd" (fair enough it does need it)
ring the guy "ah that'll be £250 to replace the alarm." but at least they'll do it at mine
fecking meta would it really have been that hard to put the pin in the fob? grr. ____________________ "intelligent inattention is preferable to unintelligent tinkering"

true but then my only prevoius experience with alarms was on the fazer and that only came with 1 fob but it never developed any issues , according to the guy whose replacing it it's getting more and more common with the early meta alarms.
Edit: though i do have all the keys,. ____________________ "intelligent inattention is preferable to unintelligent tinkering"

bought it from a dealers unfortunately. ah well might have to lay off buying a wide angle for a while.
at least the datatool it's getting replaced with has a programable code that i can set. i wouldn't be replacing it bar the fact the insurance would skyrocket. ____________________ "intelligent inattention is preferable to unintelligent tinkering"
