Race Paint Job Competition...

Hi all,

The plan this year is to get back into a bit of racing. I may enter a few MRO race weekends and see where we go from there. I haven't got the money for the whole season however

So anyway, I've finally sorted out some race fairings for the 99 R1 and now have a blank canvas to work on. I need a paint job that isn't the same as everyone else, but isn't too garish (if that's a word)

I'm liking the look of a lot of the white bikes at the moment, so maybe that could be incorporated into it somehow.

Winner gets their name slapped on the goolie rubbing part of my tank / front mudguard

Too many white bikes, you won't stand out.

Go to the first round, see what colour no-one's got and then paint it like that. Tis pretty much how 'BCF Racing Orange' happened.

Day glow Yellow's always a good colour.

How about seeing if your local Hein Gericke/Thunderoad/bike shop will sponsor you? Could end up being pretty unique, if not full of sponsors.

Paint it with Camoflague so it looks like a WW2 fighter plane.

Have the markings, the Reg and the RAF roundel on it, It will look good and definately different.
