Hi all, I'm looking at buying a head cam that I want to use for when I'm on the bike and when I'm out on my jet ski so it needs to be waterproof. I have about £100 to spend and just wondered if anyone can recomend a cam around that price

The AEE MD80's are a excellent buy at £30 I believe you can get a waterproof case for them too.

Very popular on this forum.

Here's a recent video from my Veho Muvi (which is pretty much the same as the MD80)

Audio is pants, video is okay-ish. Not as good as the GoPro HD obviously but about a tenth of the price. Laughing

Save up some more and get a GoPro HD, there not cheap, but there 1080p HD and 30fps, or 720p HD and 60fps! The come with all the mounts, and there fully waterproof up to something like 60 metres. If you go on GoPro's website, theres a video of one on the front of a surf board, there are awesome! One of these will be my next purchase, I figure if Im going to buy a camera, I might aswell get a good one thats going to last a long time!

What Jetski have you got by the way?

EDIT: Heres a couple of videos from the GoPro HD, put them in 720p, and remember Youtube compress the video's so you loose a bit of quality!

Be sure to weigh up your mounting options before you buy as well.

Using one of the velcro straps and the weird rubber casing that comes with it. I also put some cable ties on the back of the velcro strap to help hold it on. I leave the rubber case on all the time and slide the camera in as I use it.
