What are your views?
I like the sun visor and the price is pretty good for a helmet which has good a reputation
The only thing that is putting me off buying one right now is the whole noise thing.
Apparently they are really noisy, but i ride with earphone/plug in anyway so it shouldnt matter. should it?
looking at this one
clicky
Cheers

Have a search, should find lots of threads related to them. Overall, they get a ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |

I wear a V2R Zonda. Good lid but i don't like the seatbelt type fastener. It hasn't leaked and is easy to dismantle for cleaning.
The cheek pads do squash over a few months so make sure you get a proper fit when buying (obvious i know)
The sun visor is fantastic...
wind noise....well this is my 3rd lid so comparing it to the FM and Shark its an improvement.
would i buy another? probably not, i'm still searching for my ideal helmet

Noisy, but not as noisy as my previous lid. As a glasses wearer, the sun visor is great. It's comfortable, well made and a decent price. When the time comes to replace it, I'd still have a look around but would happily get another. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. hi, i have a caberg v2r zonda helmet, had it for a yr and its a great helmet.
noise is a problem but i always wear earplugs so its fine. its very light and comfy compared to my agv!
inner sun visor is very good but only complaint is ive broken the outer slide mechanism and i cant seem to be able to get a replacement without buying a whole new inner visor!!!
all in all tho its a good buy. 7/10 from me ____________________ happy go lucky gixxer guy |

I really liked my Caberg V2r, really comfy lid. yes they are noisy I had mine mainly when on a ped and even noticed it on that.
It stood up well in a crash too went head first into the front wheel of a car, it took all the impact and only broke a clip holding one of the vents on, of course the polystyrene is buggered , but is good would recommend one.
Although now Im after a new helmet, I would buy another but i want something patterned rather than plain and I don't like any of there patterns to boring.
https://www.ghostbikes.com/products/Helmets-Full-Face-Helmets/1267-caberg-v2r-motorcycle-helmet.html for that price don't think you can go wrong, but check the sizes. ____________________ Bikes Past: Yamaha Aerox (sold) Yamaha R125 (written off)

I've got a Caber 104 V2 helmet. It's comfy enough and the inner visor system is handy as mentioned. I don't know about anyone else though, but I think it has a awfully big 'chin' on it - similar to a motocross helmet. I was considering a new one but only for the looks to get rid of the big 'chin'. ____________________ My Project - Honda CBR 600 F2/FM |

I have the Caberg V2R RAZR(maybe? not sure on exact model) and I'd agree with all others here:
Fairly noisy, however I use mine without the added plastic/rubber bit that goes in under your chin...at least I think that's what it was for.
Internal sun visor is excellent, although when you pop it down you'll realise how dirty you main visor is because you won't be able to see jack sh*t
The micro-latch system on it is quite good, I'm useless with bike bike gloves on and fiddly little things flummox me quite badly but this micro-latch is easy to use with gloves on.
The main visor is soooo easy to detach that even I can do it without smashing it.
Overall I'd say they're and excellent value lid and very good quality for the money. ____________________ Rides - '60 Plate Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.25, '03 Plate Kawasaki ZX6R B1H and an '87 VFR400 NC24
