Hi, is it the air cooled one or not? this may or may not be relivant later, right mate, i've worked on so many aerox's i can whistle and the bikes strip themselves.
Start taking all the panels off start from the back to the middle.
Remove the foam seating and the bucket (riders) seat.
When removing the seat the cable can be removed from the bucket sets fork like lever and bent back when re-installing.
The fuel tank is under the foam seat, undo what you can see and drain it out and dispose of the fluids appropriatly.
Take it inside your house and let it dry out may take a few days.
You might also want to drain the carb, its a blade type screw on the float bowl, it will be the lowest screw, or if its like the new versions, its a push up valve, you just lift it slightly to drain. ____________________ Haz ER-5, innit! |

2002 aerox will be 12v not 6v
A type CT4L-BS is what you need for the aerox
Also you wont need to unbolt the reed block fron the engine to remove the carb, you should have a jubilee type clamp holding the carb to the rubber inlet block.
