im in the cooling off period so just started the policy and yes i mean summer break, i though as long as everything is valid on when the policy was taken out i should be fine and i would also be classed as a student whilst working in summer break , this is why i am asking another reason isyou dont have to tell an insurance of speeding tickets until renewal this was told to me by my last insurers as i phoned them up and told they noted it and said it doesnt mantter until renewal as the fact were correct when the policy was taken out, it says on my policy covered for commuting to and from a single place of work and what the insurance advisor has told me soundslike a money spinner to me. If it isnt i will obviously be cancelling but honestly i cba with the hassle.
Someone could change there occupation multip0le times in one year and phonging up there insurance evertime is just daft it could be say 50 times a year ive even had a policy where my occupation was nothing to do with what mine was as mine wasnt on the list.
these are some of the facts of why im enquiring before deciding what to do as the advisor said i would have to pay to say im emplkoyed and get this when i go back to college to pay again to say im a student, so apparently even though im a student and it says i have commuting i wont be covered to drive to work orr a theft at a workplace becuase im classed as a student, dya see what im saying. sounds like a load of tosh.
and naturally they have made a note on my account about that conversation. |

Commuting will cover you for going to and from college. So I would not inform them.
Change of job will only apply if you are going to use the bike for business use or racing.
I was told to inform your insurance company about points just out of courtesy. Then at least they are aware, so if you did have an accident then they could not use that against you,. As the call would have been recorded. ____________________ Suzuki GSF600 K3 (in the fastest colour, black). |

Commuting is commuting
Whether one day you work on a building site around the corner and the next day you work on a building site 80 miles away, it is still commuting. ____________________ Suzuki GSF600 K3 (in the fastest colour, black). |

Yes..
As long as you are covered for commuting then you are ok.
What insurance company would asks you where you are commuting too.
I have only ever included commuting not where and how many miles (although they do ask for your annual mileage).
Just get a temp job and commute on the bike ____________________ Suzuki GSF600 K3 (in the fastest colour, black). |

bike gets nicked at work just tell the insurers you had stopped in to see a friend
unless you have a job as a test rider or pizza delivery person then it shouldnt matter really as you wont be using the bike when you get to work ____________________ gilera runner vxr200 (chavped)
