I always stay to the VERY end of all films I go to see at the cinema. I think I only broke this rule once, when I physically got lifted up and carried out. Rolling Eyes

But not seen the first Iron Man yet, so won't be seeing the second at the cinema either.

Didn't like it. Seemed like a shameless cash in to me. Compounded by the fact they were advertising the soundtrack CD, and the game before the film. Laughing

I think I prefer the first one.

Saved by Scarlet Johansson though. Thumbs Up

Didn't see any adverts for either. And tbh, games ALWAYS come out before the movie. Don't blame the movie people Wink

Cannot.

Wait!

I am a massive comic book nerd and will be playing the "Who can see Stan Lee first" game.

I didn't mean I'd seen the ads for them before, I meant they were displayed in the cinema before the film started. Never had that happen before. Laughing

Ah...

They weren't when I went to see it Neutral

Although they did do that for die Hard 4.0. Well not ads for the game or cd... but for the movie itself. In fact it was a 10-15 minute "preview" of the film before th film.

I was so pissed off I had a word with the manager.

WHY?!

When I saw it there was an advert for the film, then an advert for the cd showing parts of the film. Then an advert for the computer game giving away loads of parts of the film. It was like wtf.

Neutral

Which cinema did you go to? And Ham?

I went to Vue in Oxford...

Cineworld in Wycombe did that for Die Hard 4.0

Was not impressed.

It was Empire Cinema in Sunderland.

Infact the film trailer for Iron man 2 was on twice before the film

When the trailers first started it was on in that part and then it went to 12 rated trailers and played it again.

I like trailers for films but we had been waiting for this film and knew it was on and had tried to avoid the trailer.

Another Thumbs Up from me, really enjoyable.. Quality entertainment throughout and very witty in between the action, I was most satisfied.
About the after ending scene... what was that about?...

SPOILER Don't read small text!

LOL Cloud's sword?! It's Thor's Hammer! It's all about the Avengers baby. Like at the end of the incredible Hulk with Edward Norton you see the colonel drinking at a pub/bar and Tony Stark approaches him and talks about SHIELD and Avengers.. or something along the lines. Do you not remember Nick Fury asking Stark about the Avenger's initiative on the first one?
