That front tyre looks a bit pants. What is it?

Nice though. I'd like a K5.

One stuck on to get it to pass an MOT. BT57 or something equally dubious. It'll get replaced shortly.

Coolio, nice looking bike...replacing the Triumph for a bike that is more like a toy. I take it you will be changing the back end, getting an undertray? Question

Have fun...I'm sure you will. Cool

Very nice, although slightly OT it seems to be getting more and more common place to having to actually squeeze any info out of people about their new bikes in these topics!

Is there an addictive mystique about just putting a picture up then leaving all the info out for people to guess on?

Anyway, back on topic - I like! Is this going to be a daily commuter aswell Bend?

Well, put it this way. She had a Triumph and an RD350 that doesn't run. She now has a GSXR1000 and an RD350 that doesn't run. Go figure.

It's a common as muck bike in bog standard trim so I didn't really have anything to say about it. Got no plans to do anything to it, save changing that front tyre and fitting my autocom/gps, neither of which are very interesting. No intention of taking lots of cheesy angle-d photographs and whoring it like McGee cos it's a 10-a-penny gsxr that looks like all the other ones. In fact it looks exactly like the one parked next to it in the garage, except that one's blue'n'white and has muffs on. Laughing

The only remotely interesting thing about my one is that it used to be South Wales Police's unmarked bike. Police

Did you do much touring on your Triumph? You planning to do similar trips on this bike too?

It looks good, the more I look at gixer's the more their appeal grows on me, however I am unconvinced by the Suzuki build quality.

Not much. Various reasons, mainly time and buying a house - related. I'm quite happy to use this bike for long trips and it's a much better commuter for London than the big Sprint, which was just a bit big and heavy for easy filtering and parking, I found.

What this man says. After working at Bridge motorcycles for a while I found out this was a fairly common problem. The issue is with the welding on the headstock, it's been known to crack, if yours is OK then Suzuki just weld some plates on to strengthen it, either way, worth getting checked out Thumbs Up
