You've got to admire the dedication but that level of cleaning is just not for me - I'd never want to drive it again afterwards through fear of having to do it all again

Well, that and I wouldn't want to drive a souped up ashtray anyway, but you get what I mean

I could understand a tiny bit more if he lived in a country were the air is clean, it hardly rains & there's no crap all over the roads. Be he doesn't, so it's going to get dirty again in a matter of miles.

The other thing is that no one is ever going to noticed it's been detailed or washed with over priced products apart from him. In my eyes, i can get the same result with fairy liquid & a sponge & Henry the hoover.

Waste of time, it was fine when it started as a standard car.

I also thought the wheels looked nicer white.

Its more the fact that the car is brand new aswell from what I read. So doing all that to a clean brand new car.

Liked the bit about him changing the whole exhaust system just because the old one stuck out a bit, and the picture of him measuring it up with the quote

"Couldnt live with it if it was even a mm or 2 out of place"

Shifty

Too much money and time. Never got why people go this far on cars but then I am just a girl and wouldn't understand anyway.

Imagine living with this guy! It's be the equivalent to your girlfriend spending 14 hours on her hair, 5 on the nails, 6 days applying lotions and then washing all the new clothes she bought with 8 different products through 12 cycles!
Babe you wanna go to dinner in 2 months? Start getting ready Laughing

I would have absolutely loved to see them try and reject a car over that. Dicks.

Apparently this guy gets paid quite well for doing this.

I can appreciate the level of commitment and highest quality of work.

But at the end of the day its a mildly tarted up Vauxhall FFS.

Put that VXR next to a 'half the price' classic show car and everyone will walk straight past it.
