If you want insurance just to ride the bike back home there's companies like DayInsure.com.
For more long term stuff then I've got dual bike insurance from Carole Nash (that said they are older, not vintage though, bikes so are on a funny policy). Might be worth giving them a ring with the bike details to see what they can quote). IIRC the second bike was only £20 or £30 more on the policy (based on the fact that one will be locked in the garage while riding the other and you can't ride 2 at the same time ).

Tried adding the bike to your policy? Sometimes works out quite cheaply. But it depends on your age/NCB/everything else.
Or you could do the whole "pay as you go" insurance from ebike(monthly) and I'm pretty sure there was a day insurance thing around somewhere.
And also, when you come to finally selling the old one and insuring the new one, just switch bikes. I did mine with no bother. You'll have an admin fee (usually 20-25) and then on top how much it would cost. With me it was 50 quid cheaper, so I got 25 quid back ____________________ '99 Hornet 600 , VFR 400 NC30 '92 , Kasawamasaki GT 550 , '98 Hornet 600

Added a 3K bike to my old 600 shed with Ebike, which included changing my address.
Result.....

Hi,
i think others have said this......
but im with ebike & found it easy to add another bike to my fully comp policy, just gave them a call & it cost me 40 quid.
i think their thinking is, you cant ride both at the same time, lol
reminds me, i need to give them a phone, as i have sold the original bike, but have kept the 2nd one.
expect they will shaft me this time, even though they are pretty much the same sort of value, size, age etc.
cheers,
