BIKE IDLES AND CUTS OUT WHEN GIVEN THROTTLE

Hi new to this so forgive me if in wrong thread etc, I have a Kymco Zing 125 2001, i replaced the gear switch on the bike, got the bike running but now it cuts out, when warm and given throttle, the bike idles ok, just when given throttle it splutters and dies on me any suggestions?

Choke stuck on, possible air breather blockage.

Water in the carb? Shouldn't be too hard to fix on a 125. It was a bit harder on my zx6 - 4 carbs well hidden by the frame. Ask if you want to know how to do this (if water is the problem). Do you keep it in a garage / under a cover / exposed to all that nature can throw at it? Has it rained your way recently / have you jet washed it?

Ok, not water then. Following from what Paxovasa said, my other thought would be blocked / trapped fuel line. Apart from that, I'm out of ideas, sorry

Does it have an inline filter?

Check fuel is getting to the carbs.

Does the tank get pressurised (when you undo the petrol cap does it suck in air).
