when you first apply the brakes very lightly you hear a click or crack sound and it will sometimes happen when you ease off the brakes or turn under braking. First i thought it was head bearings gone but on closer inspection the sound is coming from somewhere lower. The only thing i can think is that the pads are looser than normal and they move about but that wouldnt explain it happening when turning or easing off the brakes Question any ideas? its a vfr750 with braided lines btw

Check your calipers, When the wheels turning are they slightly out of place and snapping back when its pads are biting the disk?

yeah thats what i was saying in the original post but that would explain as the pads bit the discs but i can work out why it would do it as you turn under braking and as you ease off Shocked Question
