Can't comment on the lids but I've used a Fog City HyperOptiks insert before and thought it was great.
In normal light it was clear with a slight green tinge to it but when the sun came out it turned a deep cool/cobalt blue .
It never fogged during the winter or bad weather. It was great and I would seriously consider buying another one if the need arose (was in my old helmet).
The only problem I had with it was that after loads of use and washes it started to lose it's adhesiveness (I think I caused this by removing to clean )
Obviously the Fog City sticks to the inside of the visor rather than being held in place like Pinlock. ____________________ ZX6R F3 |

I've had a raid 2 for the past two years, quite quiet although can be made quieter by using the optional whisper strip which stops wind coming in from the bottom.
On long journeys I still wear earplugs or headphones though.
It's a pretty light helmet, and can be had pretty cheap, got mine for £140 two years ago at the Gmex bike show
Can't comment on the reactive pinlock I have clear and dark visors both with a clear pinlock insert just keep the spare in my topbox. |

My old Raid 2 was much quieter than my current XR-1000. |

I have a condor. I like it, comfortable and light. Do think it is quite a noisy lid though but dont notice with a set of earplugs or mp3 player on though.
Have never tried the light reactive pinlock, just have a tinted one in for the summer and a clear one in the winter ____________________ Harold_Shand wrote: I suppose it's like anything, you get your fingers burned when you start out, you learn from it and eventually become a complete arsehole about the whole thing. |

I love the shoei lids but they just dont fit me right. Best try them both on.
Shoei gave me a free face lift everytime i took the thing off |
