Yeah twist together then solder as a smooth blob. Its really all down to how well/good you are with a soldering iron, its quite a skill.
And for the prevention of breaking apart (but un-necessary) is to cable tie together or heatshrink it with some heatshrink tubes.
Its what i do, but I do crimp as well
OP: Is the wire actually that thick? |
