I'm not sure why you need an artist to do a mock up for you tbh.
Just go to any high street tattooist and say "I would like [insert text here] tattooed in a banner". He will probably show you banners from his books.
Tattooists tend to be a bit funny about copying things 100% and change it anyway. |

I'm an artist by trade and I found your idea refreshing and so iI have attached my own draft.
I thought the landscape part was shit, so I've added hearts to show the chicks that you are caring and the flying skulls from Doom fighting the dragon from the dungeons and dragons cartoon to show you are badass to peeps at bike meets. There is also an mp5 so you are down with the black folk |

Here you go...how about these...? Best thing to do is play around with the fonts you like, trying them out in upper and lower case (or combination)...till you know what you want...then take both the image you like and the font typed out to the size you want it across your back to the tattooist, and they should do the rest. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Anything really...anything I put my mind to.
A lot of my stuff has gone onto people I know... so either I give the drawing as a gift or at a reduced rate. Usually there is a bit of tooing and froing with the design, tweaking and such, so face-to-face meets are often a good idea. Plus they can show me the sort of thing they like and explain what they'd like altered to fit their taste, that sort of thing.
I have designed a fair bit of cover work.
So believe you need to be really sure about what you want, though from what you say, you need fillers...do you have particular artists whose work you admire?? It might be worth you scooting about, looking and collecting images, and then explaining to your tattooist, as they are usually the best people to speak to regarding what will work with your existing design. Which will be a damn sight easier than explaining it all via the 'net. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Cheers Clanger,
I don't have a particular tattooist in mind at the moment. I don't want to go to one tattooist and get them to draw up as I would then feel obliged to use them to do the work. I would rather get the art and take it around various tattoo places and see what they say. It may be a little ass backwards way of doing things i guess
And yes you are right, im after a lot of filler work ____________________
