Made a luggage system for my KLR, total cost was under £40 and weights 3kg.

1.5mm box section and 3mm flat bar mild steel, with British army issue 58 pattern day sacks.

ive got some of those army day sacks, taking them to france with me next weekend, there proper massive.

Thats the angle of the photo the cross brace sits just above the top of the plate and just below the indicators, fitting a small flexable one soon anyway.
