Usual parameters for google search will turn up most 'popular' info.
Punch in : Make, Model, Year of bike
followed by : spec, review, owners etc.
will bring up most relevant stuff.

MCN has a database and some of the bikes are fairly old but there's not much pre 1990. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold). Currently bikeless

Well out-of-fashion-folks. |
Sounds perfect for me then
Yeah, I've had a look at the MCN site, and it's quite good for what it is, but there're a lot of bikes 'missing'
There's a lot of info on here too, but nothing in one place(maybe we should have a new section ) -been here 5 minutes and already want to change it all
I understand the comments about people not wanting to admit they've bought a lemon, but carsurvey seems to be in general, fairly honest, and anyway, when someone has sold a bike/car they seem to be less reticent to talk about it's faults/foibles!
Basically, it'd be good to have somewhere you could look up different models and see what their problem areas are, saddle height, dimensions/spec etc, and maybe grouped into classes of bike...
Maybe I should just start my own web page |

I've always found UBG to have some good snippets of info. Not so many full reviews, but certainly good to get one more perspective on a bike. ____________________

This.
Your use of 'glory' triggered a view events in my life involving holes in toilets. But one time - not involving a toilet - an old tramp shouted 'death and glory!' at me when I was in Princes Street Gardens. He chased after me when I shouted 'for victory!' back at him.
*sigh* happy days |
