There's always one that seems to stand out. When you see one up ahead you just KNOW to watch out for them.
Now for me it always used to be maroon volvo estate cars with dog-guards in the back.
Most recently though, the bane of my life have been people driving a Honda Jazz. Either they exclusively sell them to inattentive, incompetant drivers or they handle something like a Model T ford with four flat tyres.
They do 40mph in 60 zones, 20 in 30 zones and 30 on single trackers. They brake hard and erratically approaching minor bends. Do emergency stops for tight bends. They are "creepers" when approaching junctions and the clincher, they brake hard when they notice they are being overtaken.
The driver is usually wearing a hat, which is a sure sign of an incompetant moron.
I overtook no fewer than five of these cars last weekend on my 350 Bullet which has a top speed of 60mph and a 0-60 time somewhere in the region of 20 seconds when fully laden. Anyone I can overtake on a loaded up 350 bullet should have their driving licence revoked.
What sort of car yanks your chain? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

Category I.
People who use any wee/small car. Corsa, Ka, Those little Nissan bubble cars and cetera.
The philosphy of the people who buy/steer these petrol fritterers is as follows.
Since:
a) I don't really like driving.
b) I am not a very good driver.
c) I know absolutely fuck all about cars or automotive transportation in general.
I only need a small car.
Category II
Any Hi-End BMW/Mercedes Benz/Top of the range OOOO (Audi)
Steeered by the Wives/Daughters/Girlfrieds of wealthy Indian/Arab gentlemen. These vehicles have all sorts of onboard inteligence controlling the safety management systems of the vehicle except driver selection.
Category III
Any vehicle that carries a 'For Hire' sign or Hackney Licence.
I think I have covered everything there. ____________________ W-ireless A-rtificial L-ifeform L-imited to O-bservation P-eacekeeping and E-fficient R-epair |

German cars, Fiat Chic... whatever the fuck they're called , Micras, learner drivers - had one of them stall in my lane head-on when they had to cross it to turn right - enduro brakes are shit and I nearly poo'd myself. Ermmm, Corsas, Saxos etc. cars with 1 litre engines, a loud exhaust and bangin' sound system basically. ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |

That is Soooo right on.
Two of the hooligans almost wiped out the front end of my car when they did a very stupid overtake to turn left into a side road as I was slowing down to let let them through.
I think it was the apprentice who was driving.

Yeah, wankers. I'm so glad I sold mine and got a SEAT Alhambra instead. |
I'm glad that we went for a Ford Galaxy instead of a Sharan or Alhambra.
My personal pet hates are:
Any car driven at exactly 45mph regardless of speed limit - i.e. 45 in a 30, 45 in a 60 etc etc.
As Stinkwheel pointed out, any person driving whilst wearing a hat. I know if i get stuck behind a hat, that it is going to be a long, slow, painful journey, usually at no more than 45mph. A tell tale sign of a shit driver is that they have a box of tissues on the rear parcel shelf. Anyone who drives with a bit of pace will quickly get fucked off with it sliding around on corners and during acceleration and braking. Consequently, the prescence of the tissue box makes it immediately apparent that you will be following them for a long time.
I suppose my main bugbear are the 'executive saloons' (the larger Audis, Beemers etc), they strike me as the people with (generally speaking) the worst road manners of ever. I'm guessing it's because they are usually in middle/upper management positions in their jobs and are consequently used to junior staff being deferential to them.
They seem to think that the deference applies to the public highways as well as the workplace, and that it is everyone else's responsibility to give way to them, and to avoid them as they swing from the outside lane of the motorway onto the off-slip of the junction they want, without indicating or even bothering to look to see if it is clear/safe for them to do so.
Also, another vote for badly driven cop cars. I was always under the impression that, as upholders of the law, the cozzers should be practising absolutely text book driving and should be the 'role model' for other road users.
Sadly, it no longer seems the case. I've lost count of the number of times i've had to sound my horn, and/or roll my eyes/gesture in a derisory fashion at some brainless william who has performed some incredibly stupid manoeuvre right in front of me.
I've had a couple of tugs from disgruntled pork chops who have had my horn sounded at them. Usually, when i've explained to them that their manoeuvre was either stupid, inconsiderate or dangerous (or frequently a combination of all 3), they get a little flustered and suddenly pretend they have somewhere else to be very quickly.

That's spooky... That was the very first thing that came to my mind when I read the thread title. My missus got T-Boned by one that sailed over a stop line. I got rear shunted by one in a car park as the driver admitted "I didn't see you were stopped" (despited three brake lights on the back of my car, one of them being eye level and all working!). Both incidents had a driver who clearly qualified for a bus pass. You're dead right on the speed limit thing. I'm surrounded by single track roads and they fly round blind bends leaving you nowhere to go... Thankfully I know the roads well and drive at snails pace around the blind bends because so many honda jizz's have spooked me! And on the main A-road to York, you can guaranty a jazz will be doing 40 in the 50 zone.
The drivers of a jazz will always "slam-on" when an emergency vehicle comes towards them on the opposing carriageway with its blues on, despite the other carriage way being completely clear and the jazz being in no danger of obstructing it.
Oh and one time, on a single track road, I came around a blind bend to be confronted by a honda jazz PARKED in the middle of the road, causing me to brake very sharply (the one time I didn't crawl around it!) and causing my shopping that was on the passenger seat to fly into the passenger foot well. Best bit is, they had parked about 5 yards away from a "passing place" where they wouldn't have caused any obstruction. I pulled along side them (old codgers), half on half off the grass verge and in my pure red misted rage, I yelled the only words that came to my mind: "I HOPE YOUR HAPPY... MY BANOFFEE PIE WILL BE RUINED NOW".
I absolutely hate them! And I really mean that too... They are a vile little car with vile little drivers ____________________ 1977 Honda CG125
