They do exist, I had a semi automatic clutch on my drz.

Try searching for a centrifugal clutch kit for whatever bike, but I'm pretty sure they are only available for certain singles as a supermoto addon. They are very pricey too, mine came with the bike and with a receipt of £387.

As above... with the left handed screw drivers Wink.

It depends entirely on the system – for instance on a c90 I believe you can add in a clutch cable and the plates are exactly the same as models with a clutch.
Quite a lot of the auto clutch systems these days use the standard plates now I think, others it will be specific to the system.

There is a brand called "rekluse" who does them but for only motocross type bikes. I am talking about a cbr600 kind of bike here.
Anyone heard of that kind of clutch plate?

It is not the clutch plate it’s self that does it – it’s a special clutch basket or other components, which often uses the standard clutch plates. Generally they use some kind of centrifugal principal.

I know for bigger bikes they may be available for drag racing – I can remember googling and finding some results in the past when someone with limited use of their left hand was asking. Not sure about the CRB600 and I’d expect it’s going to be expensive whatever.

A friend I know used to race with a guy who was paralysed in 1 arm, he had a hydraulic clutch made, that was button press and mounted it to the other side of the bike.

Apparently the guy was bloody quick aswell!

Slider clutch. No use for on the road as you have no lever.

Why do you need a lever for the road Confused - if it's gear changes, presumably could add a quick shifter etc.
The dirt bike version often lose the clutch lever and they do fine - though not sure how that works actually.

I guess you could modify one for a lower take-up rpm but you can't even ride a slider-equipped drag bike back to the pits. Some have a lever to comply with rules but it does little more than make the bike move when you hold it in.

The dirt bike ones have adjustable 'take up' rpm and are generally set pretty low - perfectly rideable on the street too.

On my DRZ the clutch was only used for pulling it in and making a lot of noise.

You just gave it a handful and it went, kicked up and down the box as much as you like and the rear would never lock up, it wouldn't stall at low speeds in high gears.

Was quite fun, but got boring in the end. Plus it had a slightly laggy effect so in first gear you'd give it a handful then it would move slowly ish and then chuck the front up, nearly flipped it a few times pulling out from junctions.
