Right after my accident and crushed exhaust ive decided to take my CG off the road and use it to learn some bits on and maybe keep as a field bike.

As the silencer was crushed in the crash i decided to cut it off and have it straight through Twisted Evil

Its turned out ok apart from having a rather high idle speed, could anyone shed any light on this problem? Is it just down to the idle screw or does it need something else?

I'm pretty sure you just need to turn your idle screw.

ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston?

My CG just sounded like your average lawn mower when it didn't have it's exhaust.

You should turn it in to an aero bike and aim for 200MPG!

Indeed, it basically gets enclosed in plastic. The rear is actually more important than the front when trying to make a vehicle that slippery though, there needs to no turbulence left behind. Because it's a bike though you can reduce the drag coefficient to very low levels due to the smaller profile.

This kinda thing:

Naa dont realy fancy that lol, and i hate fiberglassing lol

I Think stripping everything unessacary off the frame and get a mot is the first plan, then i will work on the styling.

Any tips for Cafe Racer-ing a CG?

Sam.

What, French Pavement, red & white brollies & clouds of Gouloise smoke, Italian, red green & yellow brollies & the broken plumbing noise of an expresso machine, or classic English 'greasy-spoon' cheque vynal table-coths, adhesive oil on the floor & a noise like some-one rattling cutlery around a steel sink.....
or perhaps a blend of all three... gouloise smoke...... broken plumbing noise, cutlery in the sink noise & grease on the floor!
