no im afraid not.

'89-'90 was the 'F1' model and '91-'94 wasthe 'F2' model.

according to the fiche they're completely different.

as to whether they'd physically fit, i have no idea but they look completely different on the fiche.

check the years for yourself..

Definitely different, for uk check this site https://www.hondaoriginalparts.com/ does not show Honda numbers as Honda do not allow it but the pfkl numbers will match. Don't know what supZ means by F1 and F2 though, it doesn't work that way and can confusion using those designations as those designations were used by Honda later on different models. F1 for 2001 F2 for 2002 and for the US other things as well.
1990 is FL model, L being model year 1990, 1993 is P model. Simple enough.
The forks are basically bigger on the 1993, I forget the sizes well Honda seldom show those in parts lists so no, would not even fit your yokes and although there's an outside chance of you have the whole thing yokes included you could make them fit then you'd likely need a wheel etc as well and all would be damned hard.
Sorry, no easy fix there. Earlier forks might be okay if you could find some, as I recall up to the FL they were pretty much the same but the FM in 1991 was a major redesign. That's where people started all this crap about F1's and 2's etc.

Should fit previdiing the forks are the same tube diamater as the old ones. You may have to get the whole front end setup such as mudguard, different wheel spacers and possibly the calipers.

Alot of honda parts do interchange with each other.

I have stuck on a twin setup for my Honda CB-1 using an NTV600 Revere Forks and using the original wheel and spacers. So it can work.

People have stuck on cbr600 forks (which must be 41mm stanctions so they can go through the existing yokes) using the cbr6 wheel and calipers. The only thing that was the same was the mudguard.

So it can be done.

thanks for the replies.

i got hold of a haynes manual and it lists FM/N as 443.2mm and FP/R as 429.3mm and not sure what FL is so can't tell if they will and nothing on ebay, lol

Anyone happen to have forks off an FM/N for sale? Razz

Hi

Looking on the ABE site they list FH to FL forks stanchions as 37mm diameter and 613mm long, while FM to FR are 41mm diameter and 630mm long.

All the best

Keith
