Haven't a clue what that is. I assume is a slang term for the heavy flow of traffic North in the morning and South in the evening.  |

The Blackwall tunnel is actually two tunnels. and there are two lanes in each tunnel. A total of four lanes. One tunnel (two lanes) is normally used for Northbound traffic and one for Southbound.
However during peak times, they can introduce a tidal flow whereby only one lane of one tunnel is used in a particular direction and the other three lanes (one and a half tunnels!) in the other.
