What was the colour of the gunky shit?
Get the bottom to near the T mark, it's just an indicator and isn't 100% accurate. What matters is the positioning of the cams as thats what your working with so just get them in the right position. Make sure that you don't get them 180 degrees out. Check the cam profiles and positioning so that you can see that all valves would be closed and you're good to go.
Timing is only critical once it comes to putting it all back together  |

How do you find out what the cams are doing as the engine is still in the bike? Thats what those inspection hatches are for  |

The CBR125 was / is only made with a SOHC engine. Only the 150 has a DOHC motor. ____________________
