thanks for replies im on L plates at the moment but will be booking test soon when ive saved up enough for the new bike ( looking to spend £1500 - 2500 ) |

If you are in the UK and pass your test when you're under 21 you will be restricted to 33hp for two years.
If you are 21 or older you can do 'direct access' which allows you to ride any bike.
See new bikers section for further details, I'm sure . |

Stick with the drz mate, they don't make an awful lot more than 33bhp. It's not exactly a well enforced law  |

I've 20 with a restricted license and have a DRZ Put an aftermarket (aka loud ) exhaust on and it will do for 2 years no bother Dunno about the exact BHP, some say 40... some say 33bhp... all I know is the log book says 29kW and the restriction on my license is =<25kW  ____________________ KTM 990 SMT & Suzuki DR-Z 400 SM |
