I'd love to see this when you're done as I'm looking to build the same thing. Ideally, I want mine to lift the whole bike (hydraulically), and still be able to take off both wheels once it's up, if required.
If it had a simple tool tray incorporated into it somewhere, and/or somewhere to hold cans of WD or chainlube that'd be cool too.
And the higher it could (safely) lift, the better. ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |

Thanks for the reply, I am also looking at lifting the whole bike, which is one of the disadvantages of paddock stands as they dont provide the clearance.
And normal ones dont support bikes with a single swing arm
thanks for some of the ideas its appreciated |

Forgot to mention that it'd also be good if it could be folded as flat as physically possible, and be hung on a wall when not in use.
Next week: Moon on a stick...
Good luck! ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |

yeah its to be designed to be used in a workshop/garage,
as opposed to be taken on the road with you.
And I know fairings may cause issues when it comes to design
but all these ideas are a massive help |

Thanks Michael47 that sounds like an idea that I might definitely be able to intergrate to a stand,
and I will look into this German stand, thanks for its details |

I found the Bursig Zentral paddock stand and it looks like an amazing stand, and really simple to use. Thanks for its heads up |

Ah!
So have you seen one of these Zentral stands in the flesh? Im absolutely fascinated by them and would love to know just how they manage not to throw the bike in its side. I imagine they would be wobbly but it looks pretty secure in the vid?
Shame its so expensive! Imagine watching your bike just drop 2 feet off the other side of it?!?! ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |

Looks too good to be true to be honest! I like the idea of being able to lift the bike for maintenance of simply just to turn it round in a small space or get it right to the side of the garage for easy storage.
320 euros though ____________________ RS125 > CBR6 > SV650S > ZX636R > GSX1300RZ Hayabusa > 06 RSVR Mille > SV1000S > Street Triple 765 RS |
