Well i did my first ever kind of race on my wr at barbon on satarday, sadly it was pouring down with rain, but it wasnt too bad!

managed a 32.71, started off at 39 seconds, so it wasnt terrible for me!

there was me on my smoto wr450, and a mate of mine on the cagiva mito powerd by a rd350lc motor, wich sadly died on the second to last lap!

heres some pics on my photobucket, as im not so sure how to upload them on here!

oh and credit to quickly from here, riding down from scotland, and racing a restricted bike!

on pb, click the bit where it says 'direct link' copy it, and paste it in here.

then double click on it, and click the button that says 'Img' that makes this happen:

also, is it just riding up a piece of tarmac on a slight hill? how does it work exactly?

Ste: I'm not entirely sure how you'd go about verbally abusing someone with a potato but I'm sure it's possible.

cheers for that! theres a few corners, its not straight lol, the hairpin slowed me down, was either braking too early or too late!

think its about half a mile run, and its a time trial up the hill, its not just bikes its, cars, quads, side cars and trikes ect.

record was set on a cr500 i think, at around 26 seconds Shocked

I used to live next to this:

They had the odd bike there, though the smaller stuff was always crap as you need power to accelerate uphill.

Some of the bike engined single seaters are bloody quick and sound amazing.

Normally something like this wins though. I remember one year a guy turned up with an F1 Mclaren from about 1990 that had been fitted with a 5 litre V8. Sounded wrong for a grand prix car but fuck was it fast!
