Do I grass on my drunkard neighbour?

My neighbour is a dolescum pisshead. Everyday at 11am he drives to the shop, buys 40 fags then drives to the pub 2 miles away.
Here he will spend the next 7 hours drinking an eating then quite happily drive home.

Since moving here he has hit the bins outside my house 3 times ( the bins are 4 feet from my bike) and twice I have seen him literaly fall out of his car and crawl to his door.

I have had a word with him and he said "its my bad back I can only walk very short distances"

Soon he is going to run over me or my bike. What would you do BCF, bearing in mind I have to live next door to him for the foreseeable future.

I'm not really up for grassing but ask yourself how you'd feel if you find out tomorrow that he's run someone over and killed them. Plus do you really want to be on the look out for a pisshead kamikazee driver every time you leave the house.

I absolutely agree with "grassing him up" - if you're thinking of it in those terms i'd say you're looking at it wrong; to the contrary, you'd essentially be doing a service to society by reporting it. So long as he remains unaware, as he sounds a prat.

It's not like we're talking a cheeky pint here, from what you've said he isn't fit to be in charge of a bicycle, let alone a ton plus missile.

If he has back issues, then crawling around on the floor drunk is not showing signs of caring about it.

Report him if you believe he poses a danger to anyone, not only is he taking the piss, but you are technically funding it if you pay tax.

Think I'd phone anonymously if you can, giving the reg no and the rough time he fell out of the pub, rather than waiting outside the house.

You could just tell him he's a cunt for drinking and driving, and reminding him that he could kill someone, including you.

You could point out to him that every time you go out on your bike, or even just walking your dog, you're terrified as you approach the area because you know he might be driving wankered, somewhere close by.

Go to the pub he goes to. And jack up his front end under the wish bones so that the front tyres are ever so slightly off the floor. He'll get in, put the car in reverse and if he's pissed enough he'll just go into autopilot and drive home whilst in the same spot.

If your not up that i'd suggest telling the police, and where he drinks. They will happily sit outside the pub and wait for him to leave then nick him.

If he already has a conviction then he might go to prison.

My old neighbour was on a right hop on the disability with his back.

I watched him lay a new concrete drive, do his roof, build a shed, the list goes on. He also got a new car every few yrs....

Found out a few weeks ago he got cancer of the mouth... makes you wonder if it's karma...

I fell out with a friend because he used to drink drive. Can't fooking stand it. I didn't grass him up, but I told him if he ever kills/maims someone when driving under the influence that he'll get everything that comes to him.

I think he stopped, but he was such a cunt for doing it in the first place.

I reported a local drunk driver some years ago, and would have no trouble doing it again if I had to.

The way I see it, if he'd knocked someone over due to his drink driving and I'd done nothing to prevent it, I don't know if I could cope with the guilt of knowing that I could have done something to prevent the unneccessary injury
