Cold rinse.
Detergent wash.
Cold rinse.
Dry with a chamois.
Wax on with a microfibre.
Wax off with a microfibre.

I just use cold water, apparently in the winter you shouldn't use warm water at all due to it having a reaction with salt, and speeding up corrosion.

Warm water is more reactive, so will help shift dirt quicker. It will also help liquify grease and oil and evaporate quicker. Obviously the higher temperature might help remove grease that you actually want to keep such as chain lube. A hot pressure wash every now and then helps get rid of the worst shit, but provided you wash it regularly you will be fine with cold water.

Hot water keeps the hands warm Thumbs Up Doesn't make much difference in the summer but screw using cold water when its 2 degrees outside in the middle of January!
