what's peoples favourite track based on track or race days?

Having only done Llandow , Mallory and Brands indy i'd probably say Brands but i absolutely loved Gerrards at Mallory!

Cool

I have to post my top 3 because they are all a pretty close first!

1) Brands GP Circuit
2) Donington
3) Cadwell

I would really like to get to Oulton Park this year, I've only ever heard good things about this track. Thumbs Up

Cadwell Thumbs Up

Lydden's good
Hated Silverstone and Llandow's good for a small, cheap track.

Snetterton's surprisingly good too, even though the layout looks quite basic.

Snetterton is hugely fun for the fast corners.

I reckon probably Brands GP then Snetts for me.

Brands for me, I simply love the track. Got to do the GP some time though. Then probably Cadwell Park.

It's simplicity is part of the appeal - it lets you concentrate on the basics (which very few of us have sorted), without worrying about having to suddenly brake mid-corner, then throw the bike over to off-camber while accelerating out or whatever.
It means you can push your late braking (revvet straight very good for this as lots of run off at the end), your corner speed (corams is good for getting braver and braver) and keeping the ideal line coming out of the corner while getting on the gas (plenty of run off coming out of sears if you find you push it a little too much.)

The bombhole at Snetterton is amazingly fun, fast corner.

mmm, it changes depending on where I been recently.
but at the moment
Pembrey
brands indy/donnington.
are the top 3 for me.

Pembrey isnt anything spectacular I just really enjoyed riding round there when I raced there last month. the kink is proper mans corner.

Ill be doing outlon in september so it'll probably change again.
Hopefully get a chance to do thruxton before the year ends which is the track im most looking forward too.

I'd say Castle Combe as its fresh in my memory. Really bumpy track that makes Mallory Park feel like glass in comparison.

It really makes you relax on the bike as its almost constantly squirming and shaking underneath you. If you hold on tight you end up in the barrier Shocked

MX + Road Race track = win Thumbs Up

From a riders perspective, Cadders, Brands GP and Oulton FTW

But I also like Snetterton and Brands Indy for their familiarity and Rockingham for its left handers!! Thumbs Up

God I haven't been on a trackday for ages Crying or Very sad
