Just wondered, does anyone else cringe when Jorge celebrates his wins in Rossi stylee...?

I just think 'noooo...why copy him...it's so cringeworthy...so unoriginal...nooo don't do it!!!' I mean it's flattering, but weird. Laughing

He has had his personality surgically removed at birth. He did an interview with Eurosport or someone a few months back and his favourite book was "How to win friends and influence people". He said he had trouble with social interactions and couldn't look the interviewer in the eye. He didn't answer any of the questions properly and came across like an arrogant pratt.

I don't like him. Rossi is the real deal and Lorenzo is a mere pretender.

i see it all an attempting to be the peoples champ like rossi is.
it its quite painful to watch i agree, as its like ...

"Lorenzo!!!, what are you doing?, the mans not even retire or dead yet,
your cant copy and paste his success while his still on the grid every weekend",

he lacks the personality that it takes to be the next rossi, so it just all seems forced, and manufactured

The trouble is Rossi has become famous for differing (odd, unusual) celebrations. Anyone who now does more than a wheelie or a burnout will be accused of copying him. I don't have a problem with it - it's certainly more interesting than climbing off the bike like someone's shot your dog and shit on your bed (ala Pedrosa and Stoner).

Yes! The guy is a Rossi wannabe!

Whenever he tries to be funny with his celebrations, it just sends one of those embarrased 'tingles' down my spine, it's pathetic!

He's an absolute twat! Rolling Eyes

Jorge Lorenzo Guerrero (born May 4, 1987 in Palma de Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain), is a Spanish professional motorcycle road racer. He was the 2006 and 2007 250cc World Champion. He is currently a rider in the MotoGP Class, on the Factory Yamaha Team.

On 25 August 2009, Lorenzo ended speculation surrounding a possible move to Honda or Ducati by signing a contract to race with Yamaha in the 2010 MotoGP Championship. Ducati reputedly offered him a 15 million dollar contract to take Nicky Hayden's position.
Lorenzo chases team-mate Valentino Rossi at the 2010 French Grand Prix.

Lorenzo broke two bones in his hand in a pocket bike crash pre-season, therefore missing most of the pre-season testing. He fought through the field to finish second to Rossi in the season opener in Qatar, whilst still not fully fit. After Rossi broke his leg in a crash at Mugello, Lorenzo became the title favourite, with a 47-point lead after four wins in the first six rounds. Victory at Assen made him only the seventh rider ever to win in 3 classes at this prestigious circuit.

During a break between the Italian and British rounds of the championship, Lorenzo rode a Yamaha in a parade lap around the world famous Snaefell Mountain Course at the Isle of Man TT. He rode alongside former World Champion Ángel Nieto, later describing the experience as 'amazing'.
