Just got my Blue flame can for my 07 blade. Not impressed at all , after an 8 week wait , endless phone calls to them and a bucket load of excuses I get what I can only describe as a shoddy piece of poo.
The finish is poor , it still had swaff sitting in the pipe ,and I have had to modify the hanger to get it to fit. As it is an underseat can I would have expected the main seam weld to on at the top so its not visible but then what would I know.
If you want an underseat can for a blade or a 600rr stay clear. It sounds ok

Blueflame have always been at the chavvy end of the exhaust spectrum along with ART and Viper.

Personally I'd go for Akrapovic, Racefit, Vance and Hines, Yoshi etc...

I've put one on my 600RR. It took 4 months to arrive, along with lots of excuses. The quality looks ok, it didn't come with any sort of heat protection though which would have been nice since it's an underseat pipe.

The good thing about these is that there's no logo on them. Laughing

Yeah I took don't understand why they're chavy? Neutral

I prefer Akra's and Yoshimura.

Thumbs Up

The logo came as a stick on item so I didn't bother with them as they do look rubbish

Poorly made anodised loud tat bought by chavs. A bit like coloured screens, anodised bolts, burberry caps and Kappa trackies.

People with taste generally will either buy something quieter, better made and/or visually more subtle.

Yup, chavvy. They are garish, with many having that awful blue tint fading along the length of the can, and have those two exit pipes on one can. Oh, and the god-awful flame logo they used to have.

No class, for those who lack taste. I'd put them in the bracket with gold/blue/pink anodised footpegs and levers.

EDIT - like wot MarJay said.

As it an underseat can all you can see is the carbon tip . No blue colour , no double exit pipe so not garish at all.
It may be the cheap end of the market but not all of us have £600 plus to blow on an Akrapovic.

I can understand a dislike of the stainless ones with the fading scorched affect, not my cup of tea - but they do some pretty decent carbon ones which are actually pretty quiet with the baffles in, and from direct experience the build quality is as good as any. Mines been on for probably 4-5yrs and still in excellent condition.
(And no I dont wear burberry, dont have coloured screens and anodised shat.)

Mine looks like this off the bike

And sounds like this:

I don't have £600 to spend on an Akra, I wish I did. To be honest I prefer the look of mine to the Akra for the '03 600RR.

MonkeyKnuckle mine looked much the same . The band that holds the carbon tip was not central. They had obviously cut down a longer can so the other endS finish was not great. I also had to modify the hanger so it would fit. And I know its only putting an exhaust on but some brief instruction would have been nice luckly I almost know what I am doing

Agreed, a new Akra for my RSV was £500. Got a minter of ebay for £180.

Arrow are at the top end of the spectrum, because if is used by a race team then it must be OK. As far as I know, no race teams use Blueflame, ART or Viper cans.

Racefit are only acceptable as they aren't garish and are very well built. They are loud though.

The down pipes and system are a piece of art work but i think they could have put a bit more thought into the end cans, they just seem a bit "long". Might look better in real life mind you.

I couldn't agree more, the cans are terrible, especially when compared to the rest of it.

Aye, the cans look pony. They should have taken some tips from Zard.
